Pacifica Beauty— previously a Beauty Company of the Year—appointed Andres Sosa as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). He joins the company with over 25 years of experience in global marketing, strategy and retail experience. Sosa received a Clio award, having been recognized for developing innovative campaigns that support cross-channel initiatives across beauty, retail, fashion and lifestyle markets. Prior to Pacifica, Sosa served as CMO at Squlpt Body Shaping, relaunching the brand across the U.S. Sosa also served as Pixi Beauty’s CMO, where he was responsible for omnichannel brand positioning and global marketing. While at Pixi Beauty, he also led marketing, educational and training activities with retailers such as Target, Sephora, Ulta, CVS, Boots, Marks and Spencer’s, Douglas and others. Sosa led the launch of cross-border marketing and retail efforts in China. He also worked at The Outnet as EVP of Sales, Marketing and Creative as well as Head of Digital Marketing and Media. “We are so excited to be welcoming Andres to the Pacifica Beauty team,” said Brook Harvey-Taylor, Founder of Pacifica Beauty. “His years of experience building brands and helping shape brand positioning will serve us well. We look forward to Andres leading our marketing efforts and expanding our growth at a time where clean beauty is continuously leading the conversation.” Sosa commented, “I am absolutely delighted to be joining the Pacifica team. Being one of the first vegan and cruelty-free brands on the market, I am proud to be part of a team that has pioneered this space.
